Meet Meghan
Welcome to Hummingbird Counseling— a space created for healing, curiosity, and compassionate self-discovery. Meghan obtained her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2023. Meghan is licensed graduate social worker in the state of Minnesota. She has previous experience providing individual and group therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults. Meghan specializes in treating trauma, grief, anxiety, and ADHD. Additionally, she provides support to individuals navigating impacts of stress, family and peer relational issues, low self-esteem, and co-dependency.
Meghan has specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is currently obtaining her certification in Grief Counseling from the American Academy of Health Care Professionals.
Meghan’s approach is grounded in genuineness, warmth, and a collaborative spirit, creating a therapeutic space where each person’s experiences and values are deeply honored. Meghan’s work combines evidence-based practices with neuroscience-informed care to support whole-person healing and change. She believes meaningful change begins within authentic, trusting relationships and works alongside clients to cultivate a sense of safety, curiosity, and empowerment.
